This event serves as an opportunity to connect our talented GBS MBA Veterans to a network of business and local community leaders. This year we have the honor of hosting a Grant Family Distinguished Lecture by Retired Colonel Jack Jacobs. He is a recipient of The Congressional Medal of Honor and serves as a Military Analyst for NBC News and MSNBC.
Goal: Prepare new military veteran MBAs for transition into business. Overview: One-day seminar (“Day 0 Ready”) to identify strengths and build personal brand, educate about career options and identify best fit, build/edit resume, discuss networking keys to success, interviewing keys to success, and spend time discussing basic economic principles with guest lecturer(s).
